After putting off the inevitable as long as possible… The intonation issues started last night.
Due to my longtime “death grip” on the strings, my frets would wear down to needing a level-and-dress at least once a year. Sooo, I asked my then-guitar tech to please install the fattest, hardest frets available. Jumbo stainless steel it was!
And now, some 3 years later, as I prepare various leveling tools and fret files… Jumbo stainless steel it is. Sigh…!
Time to bust out that tube of Elbogreese.
