Thanks so much to Fran Snyder for hosting a fantastic Monday night house concert for Kim Mayfield and me. Great to see Gloria and Craig among several area friends for the first time in quite a while, and whatta pleasant surprise to see Fort Myers official-unofficial Americana Community Music Association reps Alice Schaefer and Pam Lowe walk into the room! Kim and I sang and played cordlessly into a couple of condenser mics with no drums (ack! Where’s my kick?!)… Turns out it’s fun to do things differently now n again. With the exception of a micro-amp for the hollowbody electric guitar parts, ‘twas all acoustic. Fun show, good folks, good eats — thanks so much to everyone for coming!
