Fun time playing a short, impromptu set last night at the MVP jam in Cincinnati. Joined by Dave Napier on the drums, we had the original Reckless Saints foursome onstage for the first time since the Birds of a Feather Festival in 2017. How liberating, having the percussion covered and getting to move freely onstage with the guitar. Who knew?
Also really dug getting to perform some screamin’ blues with Gradual Taylor, Reckless Saints bassist Thomas Callahan’s lifelong friend and musical co-conspirator. Tomorrow headed back over to Kentucky to perform for our old friends at Larry’s Ryland Heights Restaurant and Bar, then on to Mason, OH.
